Ok... This is stupid... I typed already but stupidly, its all gone... So i gotta retype again...
Tonight, we had our Worship Ministry party with the Sound Ministry and the Video Ministry... Our very smart insider, Declan Chua, informed us that food was coming at 630pm and so Matt told me to go down early... At first i was quite reluctant cause i only reached home like 30mins ago... But nvm lah... Go down loh... When i reached there, i thought he was gonna scold me for being late... But turns out, he's not even there yet! And the whole church's locked up! So i have nowhere to go! Argh.... Then he came at 645pm and we went in... Played some noisy drums and keyboard with dec making the most noise first with the drums and then with the keyboard... Haha...
At 730pm, we had our meal... Buffet sia... Shiok... There was fried rice, veges, chicken, shrimps and spring rolls... We were sooo hungry that when we finished, we went for a second round... Haha... Only Dec didnt eat again... He was like so busying messaging his gf... Haha... When we went to get our second round, we saw that there was ice cream puffs! Woot! Really very nice sia! Woot! Haha...
After meal, we sat down and chat loh... And then we had games... We were each given a piece of paper with the 4 columns and 4 rows, making 16 boxes... In these boxes was a description... For example, like "Owns a dog"... So you gotta find a person that owns a dog and get that person to sign on your paper... Once you connect 4 together, you win... Its something like tic tack toe... Just that you have to connect 4 now instead of 3... Haha... And guess what? I won! Woot! Actually Joash won lah... But he stupid mah... He stand there and started telling people he finished... But as always, im smart... So i went to the games organiser and gave her my slip of paper... So i won! Woot! Haha... :P
Then came the most touching part... We had prayer... What's so touching about prayer? First of all, they laid hands on us(touched!)... Ok that's lame... Anyway, first, they prayed for the Video Ministry... Dec, Matt and I went out... At first we didnt know how to stand... So we stood with our backs to each other... Like as if we were getting ready to be burnt! Like a sacrificial offering? Haha... In the end, we stood facing each other... As they were praying for us, i felt really touched... Really... I could feel the warmth, the appreciation, the sincerity of the heart... It was such a wonderful feeling it touched me till i cried... Serious... As a ministry that works behind the scenes, people dont see much of us... So we seldom get appreicated... Not that we want to attract attention or what... But as a human, you definetely want to be acknowledged for something you have done right? A lot of times, we will get scolding and it comes more than the Thank You(s)... For example, when we get disconnected, you see pastors running in and voices screaming over the walkies... But you cant handle so many things and all these distractions sometimes add pressure to your already high pressure in the video room... Thank God for people like the Worship Ministry who remembered us... Really really thank God for all of them... Felt very touched... After praying for the Video Ministry, we prayed for the Sound Ministry(Nigel and Joash), the newcomers, actually 2 years le... Haha... Eileen, Cindy, Wendy, Patricia, Qiu Xia, Des and me... After that, we prayed for Jidi! She's our Worship Ministry leader! And really thank God for her... She's been really leading the Worship Ministry very well... Thank you Jidi! After praying for her, we prayed for all the old birds like Elvin, Jason, Qiu Yi, Su Linn, Shirley, Winnifer etc etc etc...
To sum it up, it was great day and i really look forward to the next time we meet again like this... I know its a little long... Sori ar... :)
